Theresa May to trigger Article 50 next week
On 29th March, 2017, Theresa May is to trigger Article 50, beginning the process for the UK leaving the European Union.
Initially we could be looking at a period of 2 years, however this time frame is if negotiation reach an agreement from both sides. If negotiations are not agreed, or proposals not met, the time frame could be extended. The BBC have made a clever infographic to explain the timeline of Britain's Exit from the European Union.
